The Cedar Valley Figure Skating Club offers introductory skating lessons to persons of all ages in the community through the Learn to Skate classes offered on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings.  Skaters participating in these classes learn skills that provide a foundation for all subsequent training in ice skating (jumps, spins, and even ice hockey).

Club membership is not required to participate in the Learn to Skate Classes.  Every session is six weeks in length.  Weekly lesson times are 50 minutes in length which includes 30 minutes of instruction with a qualified instructor and 20 minutes of free time to practice new skills. Skaters are divided into classes based on skating ability and age.

The CVFSC Learn to Skate program is a great opportunity for skaters to learn the basics of ice skating, get some great exercise, and build new friendships.  For more information on Learn to Skate, please contact Skating Director, Abby Loeffelholz at abby@cvfsc.org.
